Sander is a dear friend of mine. He is 41 years old, has one daughter. Sander has always been a big inspiration for me as a dad. His wife struggled with postnatal depression. “You never really know how much people are willing to do or are prepared or want to help until it’s needed.” Eric Fox is a stay-at-home Dad of two. In 2015 his wife Krysta was diagnosed with breast cancer and has now recovered. In November 2017, right after Krysta’s chemo Eric’s daughter, Chloe, was involved in a near fatal road accident resulting in a long coma with a 3% chance of living. Luckily she is well on her way to recovery. We cover Chloe’s recovery, the strain the situation brought to their marriage and how they managed to turn their relationship around. Eric shares the feelings and fears he had throughout his wife’s and daughter’s fight for recovery, we talk about him as a stay-at-home dad and how Matthew, his son, dealt with his sister’s accident at the time (he was 9.5 years then). Todd Palmer became a single-parent at the age of 24, and recently, now in his fifties, Todd has become a step-father to a ten year old girl. Having spent all his money on the custody court case, he filed for personal bankruptcy at the age of 25, he started his business at 28, almost went bankrupt again before making the INC 5000 as one of America’s fastest-growing companies 6 times. As we do this session I am in lockdown with four three year olds and two four and a half year olds, so times are interesting. Dave Bacon is an amazing Dad of twin daughters and a son. He is so awesome! He’s an entrepreneur, avid skier and holds numerous board positions in altruistic and charity causes. He is a powerful, spiritual man of the arts. Dave’s father, Ernst Bacon, was a famous composer who had 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. When Dave was born his dad was 45 years his mom’s senior. He was born a great uncle because his sister was already a grandma and of course his niece was older than him. Dave shares some amazing tips on how he manages to improve his relationship with his children - like climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro for a fundraiser with his 10 year old.
